Let’s talk speed. Not metaphorical speed — actual velocity.
There’s a jet called the SR-71 Blackbird.
Built during the Cold War.
Designed to fly at over 2,000 miles per hour.
So fast, missiles couldn’t catch it.
So high, it cruised above the weather and radar.
It wasn’t easy to build.
It wasn’t easy to fly.
But once you got it in the air?
Nothing came close.
Now…
That’s exactly how I think about Google Ads.
It’s not as sexy at first glance.
It doesn’t get you traffic in 5 minutes like a boosted post on Facebook.
It takes a little setup. A little patience. A little strategy.
But once you’ve trained the machine and locked in your campaign structure?
It flies.
Day and night.
Rain or shine.
Without wearing down or falling off a cliff.
The Problem with Flashy Sports Cars
Now, Facebook Ads?
That’s your Ferrari on a quarter-mile track.
It’s quick off the line.
Looks great in the driveway.
And when it works, it works.
But here’s the thing most marketers won’t tell you:
Facebook is interruptive.
Google is intent-based.
On social, you’re playing a guessing game.
“Maybe this person might care about this offer if they scroll long enough.”
It’s like shouting into a crowd hoping someone stops and listens.
On Google, people are typing exactly what they want.
Right now.
8 billion times a day.
That’s not a guess.
That’s demand.
And when you pair that demand with Google’s AI — the same kind of tech that powers DeepMind, which they paid half a billion for — you start to see the real difference.
Train the Machine, and It Takes Off
Google’s ad engine is scary smart.
When you train it with the right inputs — good keywords, solid copy, and a smart landing page — it becomes an autonomous revenue machine.
It doesn’t sleep.
It doesn’t get tired.
It doesn’t scroll past your ad because the weather’s nice.
And once you’re dialed in, you don’t have to constantly chase the next viral creative or burn money testing 42 ad angles a week.
Instead, you show up exactly where you’re supposed to be — when someone is already searching for the thing you sell and NOW….just BEFORE they know they need to search for the thing you sell.
It’s crazy.
So good, Google systems knew a lady was pregnant before SHE did….but more on that another time.
All that to say, Google is smarter than all of us.
That’s what I love about Google.
So, Which Plane Are You Flying?
Look — I’m not saying social media doesn’t work.
I’ve made it work. You probably have too. Heck, I have Facebook Ads running for my stuff in addition to my Google campaigns.
But if you’re building a system to scale, not just spike…
If you want a platform that performs even when your media buyer’s at lunch…
If you’re tired of paying $80+ CPMs just to get ignored…
It’s time to stop thinking like a drag racer.
Start thinking like a Blackbird pilot.
Because when you fly above the noise?
You don’t just move fast —
You win.
